More info ive just found

Hi

I thought this was intersting, Im also going to try and reconnect with the ANR group though I havent had much luck meeting anyone through there. Ive never really tried to get a group together through my blog but I thouhgt Id give it a go now.

Im hopefully going to see the gyno this weekend to get my hormone injection to help me milk sooner fingers crossed.

ive added a couple of photos as I love breast and breastfeeding photos dont you.

If anyone can add info or inspiring pics to my blog please do. Or your experience of breastfeeding?

INFO BIT:-
Hormonal therapy to induce lactation generally consists of administration of estrogen to simulate the high-estrogen state of pregnancy. The estrogen is then abruptly withdrawn to mimic the rapid hormonal changes following delivery. A course of a prolactin-enhancing drug such as metaclopromide (Reglan.) is then instituted. Sucking stimulation (with a pump or by baby) is begun at this point.

Milk production typically begins between 1-4 weeks after initiating mechanical stimulation. One study of induced lactation using medications describes onset of milk production between 5-13 days. (2) This is similar to case reports of inductions using only nipple stimulation. At first, the mother may see only drops. During the time that milk production is building, women may notice changes in the color of the nipples and areolar tissue. Breasts may become tender and fuller. Some women report increased thirst, and changes in their menstrual cycle or libido.

Thanks to Anonymous Im posting again! UPDATE

Well I FORGOT I had a blog, how aweful is that..lol. Im not even sure if anyone other than anonymous reads this, but well its exciting!

I have lots of news.

Firstly I never did manage to milk, I fell and out of relationships, none strong enough to get any real nursing routine going. I have just started seeing someone new and Im enjoying that but as ever he's too busy to suckle regularly and actually just gets carried away having sex with me. Seems to be the story of my life..ha ha

But I do have news in the last few days I have been talking to a gynecologyst and he has explained he can administer two injections within a fortnight which boosts my chance of milking. I looked up the medication and it looks good. We were going to do the injection this week but I have had a very bad cold, so may have to wait until next week.

Hes also an expert suckler so all though he hasnt got much time is going to try and help me with some suckling. So thats all evry exciting.

Can I just ask if you do read my blog please let me know as Ill be encourage to write more. Thank you xxx
